100th Country
I've been travelling for as long as I can remember and I can still recall sitting on the shore of my favorite beach wondering what was on the other side of the ocean from me.
I never expected to find out, but in 2014 I began my first international adventure to Iceland and since then, have visited 100 countries in the world and been to six of the seven continents!
On my final night in Iceland, I experienced the Northern Lights for the very first time and what I felt in that moment wasn't just amazement, it was a feeling of freedom and realization. Our lives aren't meant to be lived in just a single place and so that childhood sense of wonder in this world pushed me to explore further.
England, France, Italy and Germany came first. Then it was Russia, Ukraine, China and Japan. Before long I began feeling a unique curiosity toward Ecuador, then Egypt and Myanmar. Ultimately, it all led up to me visiting my 100th country in March of 2020: Iraq!
I have heard so many misconceptions about travel, that it is too expensive or dangerous. I was called crzy for visiting Iraq and planning a visit to Afghanistan, but I found friendlier people in these nations than in my own country!
My goal is to help you explore the world on a budget that fits so that you're able to visit many places and be able to do the same each year, or even multiple times a year if you have a serious case of travel fever!
Check out my "Services" page to see what all I offer with each trip you decide to plan with me, then have a look at some of the amazing places I offer both here at home and around the world!
Some adventures are best with a local guide who can help you out while you're abroad, and I've had the pleasure to work with many during my own adventures!
Below you will find a brief listing of my friends that would love to have you as their guest during your international adventure! You will be able to learn more about them on their country's individual travel pages, which you can access by clicking on their picture.
