I highly recommend to plan on doing all of your sightseeing first, even traveling to other destinations nearby such as Slovakia and Austria that are easily accessible by bus. After all of this, enjoy a full day at the thermal baths before returning home!
It is also possible to do Danube River cruises from Budapest if you are interested!

There are no visa requirements for US citizens visiting for tourism.
No vaccinations are required to enter Hungary.
