Understand: Due to an issue with my camera in Warsaw and the rain, I have no images from Warsaw or even Krakow. All of these images ahead are from the Auschwitz-Birkenau memorial site. These images may be disturbing to children and even teens.
That being said, Poland has a lot to offer in terms of history and culture and will not disappoint you no matter where you go!
It is also a deeply religious country with many important days on the Catholic calendar marked as public holidays. Plan accordingly and enjoy the festivities!

Do note that there is an age recommendation of 14yrs for going into the Auschwitz-Birkenau site. You need to take this seriously, as there are things seen here that you will never forget.
Entry Requirements
There are no visa requirements for US citizens visiting for tourism.
No vaccinations are required to enter Poland.
